Basic preperation of Bulgor Pilaf

Serves 3

 

 

1 Cup SHIRAG brand Coarse Bulgor
2 Cups water & ¼ cup butter or margarine

For water and butter or margarine you may substitute:
Chicken, Beef or Lamb broth.
(chicken broth shown)
In a sauce pan bring liquid to a boil adding butter or margarine, if needed.
Reduce heat and thoroughly mix in SHIRAG brand Coarse Bulgor.

Let it simmer untill all liquid is absorbed. (aprox. 15-20 min.)
Remove from heat and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before serving.
